We buy the cork directly in our area from the “Curticeiros” and thus sustainably support regional agriculture. We shred the untreated cork in our workshop. Shredded cork can be used as bulk material, as insulation for floors, and also as insulation for roof trusses and timber frame constructions.
Before bagging, we mix the cork with a little lime powder and larch wood chips to prevent pest infestation. We fill this mixture into 50l bags or big bags for sale.
